Bridging Between the Past and Future
Warm beverages, chilly breezes, and foggy mornings with misty air — I believe you know what I’m talking about: December. The twelfth and final chapter of the story of every year concludes everything that happened in the story.
Every morning, you wake up to a veiled sky, wrap your hands around the warm source and let the warmth sink in. Festivals enfold the month as the streets bustle with the celebrations. The lights in the night seem as if the novas have especially arrived down to earth to illuminate the world.
The trees bid farewell to their leaves every year this month. Standing bare, they still present a level of starkness, highlighting their resilience to the change. The mountains, hills and streets cover themselves in snow blankets, with nights extending themselves, reminding us that the cycle of year has ended.
As we enter (or bid farewell to) this month, we feel we are standing at the edge of a bridge we have travelled. This moment invites reflection on the milestones we have achieved and sets the stage for the next step forward.
